I & S engineers has developed an electrically operated Sheet Bending machines. The machine uses an electrical drive to produce the bending force .A microprocessor controller allows programming the blending force, bending depth, homing, stopper distance etc. thru a user interface. USB connectivity is also provided for interface to a personal computer. The chief advantage of this machine is the ease of use and high efficiency .The direct electrical to bending force conversion results in reduced energy losses when compared to Hydraulic systems where electrical energy is first converted to hydraulic and then machine is powers thru a single phase power outlet. This makes it eminently suitable for tiny sector users who have limited work areas and where 3 phase power is a luxury. Only a single operator is required for operating the machine. A standard 1500 mm machine can bend 1.6 mm MS sheets with a 2HP motor
